McGeorge Tours and Expeditions was born from a lifelong reverence for East Africa. Built on years of traversing the sweeping plains of Kenya and Tanzania, the company has forged deep, lasting relationships with local communities and conservationists. They aren't just travel planners; they are custodians of the definitive East African experience. Our objective was to translate this profound local knowledge and intimate connection to the land into a captivating digital platform.
The Challenge
Operating in an incredibly saturated tourism market, the primary challenge was finding a digital identity that distinctly separated McGeorge Tours from the endless sea of generic safari operators. We needed to build an experience that felt instantly authentic, communicating their deep-rooted expertise and high-end hospitality without relying on typical industry tropes.
Brand Expansion
While the client came with an established logo, the surrounding brand ecosystem needed structure. We extracted its core colors to develop a rich, cohesive palette called 'Desert Safari' - a blend of earthy, warm, and timeless tones. Utilizing Alabaster for an airy canvas, Obsidian for grounded typography, and Deep Espresso paired with Muted Gold for luxurious contrast, we crafted a visual language that communicates high-end hospitality at a glance.
